One for the Boys

Hello peeps i would just like to say sorry for not visiting your blogs for the last few days as my MIL had a nasty fall on Wednesday morning, we now think she may have blacked out,i had just gone out to do the shopping at the time,hubby phoned and said get home quick and i arrived at the same time as the ambulance crew, she hurt her back and has some nasty bruises but nothing broken thankfully but her mobility is even worse now the poor thing, seams like one step forward and two steps back at the mo.Ah well i think that's enough of our problems.

Its Saturday so its time for the One Stop Crafts Challenge and this week the theme was chosen by our lovely Sharon, and the theme is Summer Breeze, don't forget to check out the other DTs fab blogs too for more inspiration, well i'm afraid that after my lovely girly projects I've now had to do another male card as there are more boys than girls in my family lol. Crafts and Me DT card

Hello peeps i hope your week is going well so far! well it's Wednesday so its time for another challenge over at Crafts and Me, where did the last two weeks go lol.What a fantastic amount of entries we had too.



Well it was my turn to set the challenge this time and i choose anything but a card, please don't panic you have two weeks and lot's of inspiration from the rest of the DTs and here's a link for the post it note pad holder that i made i made and i adjusted the size to fit my note pads,

Hello and happy bank holiday weekend to you all, well seeing as its Saturday that means a new challenge over at One Stop Crafts and this week theme was picked by Maggie and she would like to see anything but a card, and i've made two items lol, showing off now aren't i.

Sorry i'm late posting this but my arthritis is playing up again.

Four Cards Five Challenges

Hi peeps well i have been so busy with my son Aaron's birthday at the weekend his new baby son my grandson Alfie and looking after MIL that i've not had a chance to put these cards on here yet, her GP came out today as he was on his hols when she was discharged from hospital, he spent an hour here with us and said her walking may not get any better as her left foot is still numb he thinks it was cause by lack of oxygen when she had her cardiac arrest, so we will have to wait and see. And to top it all i have to back to DRs as one of my wounds from my op 6 weeks ago has gone all yucky as the resolvable stitches inside haven't dissolved they already took one out and now the rest are trying to come out, this is the third time i've had to go back, it could only happen to me lol.

I have a four cards for you today the first one is my DT card for Sophisti-cats the theme is to make a card for a child which was the choice of our lovely Mandy and we were supplied with the images too from Jenni from Cardmadfairy's Creations, who is our sponsor this week, check out her blog . The other cards were for my son Aarons birthday which was on Saturday i cant believe he is 32 now and just where have the years gone lol,it beats me.

Flower Teddy

Morning peeps its still very busy in our house getting used to having someone else live here with us and who needs caring for, when mil was discharged from hospital last week they said that there would be nurses and physiotherapists coming in every day!! when we phoned them yesterday we were told that nothing had been arranged with any of them so yesterday was a flipping nightmare trying to sort it all out but i think we are getting there now lol, well i hope so anyway. Right on with my card its not my usual style so i'm not sure if i like it or not but i just love this cute teddy with flowers he's so sweet i am entering him into 4 challenges.

Hi peeps can i just say that i'm sorry i've not been around to comment on all your gorgeous creations but we have been trying to get everything ready for MIL to come home as well as clearing out her house as she is now living with us, any way she came home today to be greeted my some of her grandchildren and great grandchildren including our latest arrival little Alfie who is home and doing very well and he's a week old today.

Sophisti cats DT and Challenge Card

Hello peeps i trust you all had a fab weekend and thanks you so much for all your lovely messages regarding Baby Alfie and his mummy Lauren!! we have seen them and i have had a cuddle now and he is soo sweet, he was out of the incubator sunday afternoon Lauren had to have a blood transfusion on Sunday night and was quite well when we saw her today.

Anyway onto my card its my DT card for the Sophisti-cats Challenge blog, i had to pick this weeks theme as my poor teamie Avril has no computer at the minute but she will be back with us soon. So i picked the theme of distressing as i need as much practice as i can get lol, as i never seen to get it just right and i must say i am quite pleased with the way this one turned out, i am also entering some challenges with this card.

I'm a nanny again

to a little boy 8lb 5oz his name is Alfie,he was born by C section because mummy was swelling and baby was distressed he is in intensive care because he has an infection and so does mummy because he pooped before he was born, mummy is fine but very tired. We are off to see them tomorrow, but we cant have cuddles:(. I hope you are all having a lovely weekend.

Hello peeps i hope the sun is shining were ever you are its a beautiful morning here in Essex again, sorry I've not been around much the last couple of days to comment on your gorgeous creations but my mil has had two falls this week in hospital luckily she was to badly injured and she still cant eat, on a happier note my son Aaron and his girlfriend Lauren are expecting their first baby!! well the baby is now two weeks late so Lauren is being induced today so i will soon be a nanny again lol.

Fairies and Bugs

Hello peeps i hope your all enjoying your Easter weekend, we had a lovely dinner at our daughters yesterday so it wasn't such a rush getting to the hospital, for those who have been asking my mother in law is still making progress but very slowly she still cant stand on her left leg as it is so painful so is still unable to walk which is so frustrating for her as she was so active before she was taken ill but she looks really well, so thank you to all of you who have been asking you are all so kind.

On to my card now i actually coloured and made this card a couple of weeks back but not had time to upload it and it fits in with some fab challenges now which is a result lol,
