Bearly Mine *11* Die cuts and Lace

Good morning folks I hope you are all well as this post publishes I will be at the hospital with hubby for his emergency appointment at wait for it 8.45am before surgery starts lol.
Onto the reason I'm here its time for a new challenge over at Bearly Mine and the theme is Die cuts and Lace I'm showing off a bit now as I've made to items a card for my niece and a note pad for my mum we have 4 fab prizes again too!

Fairy Tales at One Stop Crafts

Good afternoon folks sorry I've still not caught up with you all yet but my hubby Terry has been very poorly again but we now know what is wrong he has Adult-onset Still's disease which he has been telling the DRs for ages he has been put on steroids he has an appointment to see a consultant on Tuesday the same that I'm under as well so he will be able to get better medication, he has had it before and it went away but is now back with a vengeance it effects his liver quite badly at the mo and suffering extreme fatigue,things should settle down soon on top of all this we are carers for my mil who lives with us.

Anyway I have a gift tag to show you today as I had made a card but messed it up so i had to make something quickly and its for The One Stop Crafts and the theme this week is Fairy Tales we are being sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs the image I've used is Princess Ariel she was a favourite of my daughters Keely when she was little girl and is now a favourite of her Daughter Lexi (my granddaughter):)



I've coloured her with my copic markers I've not done red hair before the papers are a freebie from papercraft essentials called sweet wishes.

I best be off now to cook dinner for MIL as she wont even try to do it herself I'm sure she thinks she's in a hotel lol and Terry is asleep so it looks like i'll be doing separate dinners for all of us today.

Good afternoon folks I hope you are all well and not suffering any of these nasty bugs that are going around, as for me I seem to be getting one after the other after having pneumonia a couple of years back as soon as I get a cough it goes straight to my chest and hubby is laughing as I can barely speak lol! I've not done much crafting as I just haven't got the energy and keep nodding off to sleep would you believe i even fell asleep on the loo lol not a pretty sight I might add! any way I made this card but its taken me about three days to make it lol.



It seems like its taken for ever for these little cuties to be made into rubber my daughter is chuffed to bits not that she makes anything lol, the papers are also from me to you.

Vintage at Crafts and Me

Good morning folks I hope you are enjoying your short week at work lol.
Before I start I must apologize to my fellow teamie at Crafts and Me as this post should have been posted yesterday but RA has decided to flare up again and its effected my hands more than anything else this time, they are so swollen that I couldn't move my finger's so I've had to increase my flipping steroids again, so I will have to wait and see what the consultant wants to do at my next appointment, so that's why I've not been about lol, but they are a little better today.

Right onto my card now I'm not happy with it as I have smudged her arm with chalk would you believe but I've not been able to make another one, any way our super talented Angela set the challenge of vintage/distressing for this week.

Good morning folks I hope you had a fab weekend we had everyone here on Saturday for a barbecue, hubby seemed ok but is now back in bed so I think its back to the DRs for him as he's not really any better! we still managed to do the egg hunt for the Grandchildren as soon as it was finished hubby went back to bed and he is still there now Monday night.

Hi folks for some reason this didn't publish naughty Mr Blogger again lol, I best get on with it tonight then this is my project for One Stop Crafts and the theme this time is Chocolate yummy, anyways I made another note pad and I've used the gorgeous Poppy Digi stamp you can get her HERE at Crafts and Me I just love this image she's gorgeous to work with.

Bookworm Fairy

Good morning folks I hope you are all well and enjoying the beautiful weather! just when we thought things were getting better something else goes wrong my daughter and her hubby took a young man in who used to go out with sil sister he had no where to live so they took him in until he get something sorted well it turn out the thieving bugger has been stealing money from them the whole time he has even been taking sils bank card out of his wallet and drawing out money out of their bank account so my daughter bless her was so angry that she has shredded all of his cloths and dumped them all on his mums door step even she didn't want him so that must tell you something lol, they wont be taking anybody else in no matter what the circumstances so now they have to struggle because of some little scum bag don't it make you angry.

And as if that wasn't enough our freezer went wrong at the weekend so we've had to buy a nice new one so I'm getting one of those American jobbies lol it will be here tomorrow.

Right onto my card card my mojo has done a bunk since I get this flipping cough so if you see it please send it back as I miss it terribly lol, but I have made this card for a couple of challenges but I sit here looking at all my craft stuff but just cant get on with it so I need a kick up the backside lol, this card is for my nieces birthday in a couple of weeks I chose this image as she is an avid reader.

Yoo Hoo I'm still here!

Good morning folks wow how long has it been since I last blogged,and I'm so sorry to all my teamies as I've not even been able to join in with them this week, but I have good reason first of all my son Aaron was admitted to hospital last week in agony and has now been diagnosed with Diverticulitis but he is home now and doing ok his little sweetie Alfie turned one and I have since then been laid up with worse cough I've ever had apart from when I had pneumonia!but I'm feeling a little bit more human now lol,and now my poor niece has been readmitted to hospital too she has spent so much time in there this year I just hope they sort her out this time before sending her home again only to be back in again two weeks later so I've got nothing to show you at the mo as I've not even been in my craftroom until now, yesterday I had to go to the DRs for some test results as I've been getting terrible tummy pains and the tests have all come back ok apart from my kidney function which he said is borderline but nothing to worry about so he wants me to have another blood test done once I've got over this stinking rotten cough, so the tummy pains are IBS so I will have to watch what I eat but no nasty bowel problems hooray for that lol.

Anyways I will rustle something up for you soon and I have a lot of catching up to do now too lol.

Well that's enough waffling from me now and I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Anything Goes at The Paper Shelter

Good afternoon folks i hope your enjoying the weather, i've been food shopping today which i must say i hate doing lol, and everything is taking ages on my computer as i think its just about ready to give up the ghost lol, i have spent a couple of day looking for a new one but i'm not sure of what i want so guess i'll be looking again later on today.

Note Pad Tutorial

Good evening folks i hope you all had a fab weekend especially you lovely mums out there, i had a lovely weekend myself with lots of visitors and a lot of fun and laughter. I would just like to say thank you to my new followers whilst i'm here too.

Any way i have been asked if i would do a tutorial on my note pads that i made for our Crafts and Me blog hop, well i've been messing around today and thought i would give it a go now its going to take me ages to type it as i'm a one finger typist lol.

You will need your A4 card scoring board nesties two sheets of 8X8 papers a ruler pencil and double sided tape, plus you image and some ribbon.


You now need to score your A4 card at the desired size i normally put my pad on the card and score according to what i want but i have measured it for you today I've scored at 5cm - 5 1/2cm - 14 1/2cm 15cm and finally 21cm that's where i cut mine and i then cut at 13 cms.



Now you need to cut your papers slightly smaller to fit inside your scored lines as so

Are you with me so far lol, i hope you are now you can start sticking your chosen papers and add the note pad to the inside

I then add the Ribbon using double sided sticky tape you can then add you image to the front add your embellishments and your done.

The image is a digi stamp from Crafts and Me called The Little Mermaid HERE.

If's there is anything your not sure of please email me and i will try to explain it a little better.
